Gonzalo Carbajo started his professional career at Gerardo Caballero Arquitectos’s office, a prestigious boutique design firm based in Rosario, Argentina. After working with him over 3 years at the firm, he won first prize for “Fundacion Arquitectonica“ scholarship and joined Zaha Hadid Archtects in 2007 in London, UK. He worked there for 2 and half years and moved to NYC to join Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LLP (SOM), spending 7 years of his professional career working on iconic New York projects such as Baccarat Hotel and Residences.

Eary Carbajo opened its Brooklyn studio in early 2014. Throughout his enitre professional career Gonzalo has been closely involved in the academic world as professor, lecturer and reviewer in design critics in Rosario, Buenos Aries, Barcelona, London, and New York for Facultad de Urbanismo, Planeamiento y Diseno in Rosario, Architectural Association in London, Pratt Institute in New York, and City College in New York.

Currently he hold a position as professor at Pratt Institute in New York, where he teaches Comprehensive Design.
