Gonzalo Carbajo began his professional career at Gerardo Caballero Arquitectos, a prestigious boutique design firm based in Rosario, Argentina. After more than three years with the practice, he participated in the Fundación Arquitectónica design competition and subsequently joined Zaha Hadid Architects in London in 2007.
Following three and a half years at Zaha Hadid Architects, Gonzalo moved to New York to join Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), where he spent seven years contributing to several landmark projects, including the Baccarat Hotel Tower, One World Trade Center (WTC Tower 1), 1 Hotel Residences, and the Hudson Yards / Manhattan West Development, among others.
In 2014, Gonzalo founded his own practice, CRBJ Studio (formerly Eray/Carbajo), based in Brooklyn, New York.
He holds a B.Arch from FAPyD, an M.Arch from FAPyD and from Di Tella University and an AA Transfer, a GradCert from the AA (Architectural School in London)
Throughout his career, Gonzalo has maintained a deep commitment to academia, serving as professor, lecturer, and critic in Rosario, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, London, and New York. His academic affiliations include the Facultad de Urbanismo, Planeamiento y Diseño in Rosario, Torcuato Di Tella, the Architectural Association in London, Pratt Institute, and City College of New York.
He currently leads CARBAJO STUDIO as Founding Partner and serves as a Professor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and as co-director of the South American Lab Studio.

Pablo Carbajo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Universidad Abierta Interamericana, an MBA from the University of Buenos Aires and another from Technological University of Rosario. His professional experience spans management and operations leadership, with a consistent focus on service quality, strategic growth, and business efficiency.
Throughout his career, Pablo has worked across multiple sectors — from hospitality and technology to real estate development. For the past twelve years, he has been actively involved in real estate development projects, applying his expertise in environmental marketing strategies, project coordination, and client relations to deliver high-value investment opportunities.
He is also a partner and co-founder of Pangea Global, an environmental services company specializing in industrial cleaning and non-hazardous waste management and treatment.
Pablo is a versatile and forward-thinking professional, committed to continuous improvement, strategic innovation, and the successful development of transformative business ventures.
